Synthetic turquoise is an artificial gemstone made to mimic natural turquoise. Through appropriate methods, it is possible to produce materials that closely resemble natural turquoise in appearance and physical properties.

Such synthetic turquoise is typically produced through the following steps:

Raw materials containing elements such as copper, aluminum, and phosphorus are provided, along with an organic binder, and all are poured into a mold and subjected to cold pressing under certain pressure.

After cold pressing, the molded blank is placed in a high-temperature furnace, with the temperature strictly controlled between 80°C and 130°C. During this process, chemical reactions occur, forming hydrated copper aluminum phosphate minerals, which are the basic constituent materials of synthetic turquoise.

Finally, since this synthetic material is porous and brittle, epoxy resin or plastic is often added to reinforce it. This not only enhances the material's strength but also facilitates processing, cutting, and polishing, while also improving color and luster.

The final jewelry product has a very uniform color, primarily appearing as blue or blue-green.
